Job Description We are a successful Club with ASA Swim 21 Accreditation. We have a membership of over 350, with swimmers at every level. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious person to join our coaching team, to work with our club’s junior development squad. You will be expected to cover other coaching sessions as and when required. The successful applicant will:· Be working within a professional organization with good support · Be working with young swimmers, 7 to 12 years Development squad· Be expected to attend professional development courses, including Child Protection · Be expected to promote, and to attend regular competitions · Be required to show understanding and experience of LTAD · Ideally be a qualified ASA Club coach, minimum ASA Level Two· Valid NPLQ desirable· May suit ASA Level Two teacher wishing to develop his/ her coaching· The successful candidate will be required to complete a full enhanced CRB check How To Apply For further information and an application form, please email:CSCSCteammanager@btinternet.com Camden Swiss Cottage Swimming Club London Community Sports Coach (Swimming) Full time Salary: dependent on qualifications and experience for a 1 year fixed term contract (With possibility to extend for a further 1 year subject to funding) Our current Community Sports Coach is returning to Australia therefore, in conjunction with our partners, we are looking to appoint a new Community Sports Coach to work in the London Borough of Camden and the surrounding area, starting on 1st Sept. 2008 initially for a fixed term of 1 year. - To support the development of other volunteers
- To enter into a programme of Continuous Professional Development
- Is subject to a Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure
About you: - Will have experience of coaching and teaching swimming.
- Must have an ASA coaching qualification (minimum level 2 / preferred Level 3)
- Be committed to Continuous Professional Development
