Super Swims at Sheffield!

Olivia Willis found fine form in Sheffield, picking up a silver in the 100m Breast, (1.26.21) and a bronze in the 200m Breast, (3.05.25) narrowly missing her national qualifying time by less than half a second!

Harry Needs secured 4 more national qualifying times to add to those already achieved, most impressively in the 100m Back (1.00.87) and 50m Free (25.52). Harry has been rewarded for his hard work this season gaining 9 national qualifying times showing what an outstanding athlete he is. Harry also gained two bronze medals in the 50m Fly and 200m IM.

Team-mate Leo Jaggs who had already achieved his 100m Free national qualifying short course, smashed the long course qualifying time by half a second in 56.36. Leo also swam a respectable 2.05.29 in the 200m Free.

Camden collected 10 medals at the meet which featured stars such as double Olympic gold medalist and world record holder Rebecca Adlington. Medalists included Reut Benaim (2nd 100m Fly 1.05.50) , Tamir Gonen Cohen (2nd 200m Fly 2.51.82) , Tamsin McKinnon (2nd 100m Breast 1.19.90) , Alex Peake (3rd 100m Breast 1.18.78) , Sarah Taylor Reid (3rd in both the 100m Breast 1.19.96 and the 200m Breast 2.52.03) as well as Harry and Olivia, both whom are mentioned above.

Valentino Tsiakouris equaled his 50m Free short course PB (26.19) in his first ever long course meet. Paloma Friedrich broke the 30 second barrier for 50m Free in impressive style with over a 1 second PB giving her 29.21. Rosie Hughes swam well with a 29.98 for the 50m Free and a 1.03.12 for the 100m Free. Jessica Hobbs managed a 1 second PB on the 200m Back 2.31.70. Ed Graham also swam a good PB on his 200IM 2.21.79.

There is now roughly two months until the end of season meets and all swimmers should be focused on the next training cycle.
