Leo Jaggs gained his first ever national qualifying time.
15 Year old Leo smashed his best time to gain a national youth qualifying time in the 50m freestyle in a time of 26.11 inside the qualifying time of 26.21.
Swimming in the Crawley open long course meet, Leo also swam a best time on the 100m freestyle in 56.94 just missing the national qualifying standard of 56.71, but picking up bronze in the boys 14-15 age group.
Head Coach Dave Hobbs was delighted for another Camden swimmer to gain a qualifying time for this years nationals, making the club's total 12, with several other swimmers knocking on the door.
Dave feels that Leo will swim inside the the 100m qualifying standard next time out. Dave Hobbs went on to say that "the team will all swim faster over the next few weeks as we have just returned from long course training camp. There are some tired swimmers out there and we would expect to go quicker this weekend in the national league final".
