Camden swimmers were privileged to watch the fastest woman's 400m freestyle in history
Olympic bronze medalist Joanne Jackson broke the female 400m Freestyle world record on her way to victory on the first day of competition at the British Gas Swimming Championships 2009.
Joanne Jackson and Olympic champion Rebecca Adlington both swam inside the world record in the 400m freestyle at British trials for the world championships in Rome. Jackson, Olympic bronze medallist, got the touch in 4:00.66, ahead of Adlington's 4:00.89.
