Camden Swiss Cottage finished an impressive 3rd in round three of the National Swimming League last Saturday in Norwich.
Swiss were competing against the best clubs in the London region and followed up last season’s result with another impressive performance.
Although a strong overall team effort, certain swims stood out, Bogac Ayhan came 1st with an inspiring swim of 59.98 in the 100m Fly. The girls did the double in the 100m Fly with Reut Benaim taking first in the Girls 15 & Under age group with a time of 1:09.21 and Devon Robins followed up with first in the open age group swimming 1:05.09.
Robin Neumann showed off her young talent with a 1st place finish in the Female 9-11 50m Backstroke in 35.50. Felix Samuels continued his form in the 100m Freestyle winning first in 53.76, a very strong swim and one which he hopes to build on in the New Year.
The Male 13 & Under Medley relay team which consisted of Alex Burgess, Alex Peake, William Rittenhouse and Scott Broadis also finished 1st in 2:09.76.
The Female 200 Medley Relay ages 9-11 also finished first in 2:30.39. The relay team consisted of Robin Neumann, Olivia Willis, Tamir Gonen Cohen and India Rothschild.
There were many other stand-out swims throughout the team. Dave Hobbs, Head Swim Coach, will be looking to take these successful performances into the New Year and will be hoping for the same achievements for the club as those in 2008.
During the Easter holidays, there will be some changes to the normal training timetable. Please check the Easter training timetable which you can view and / or download by clicking on Documents
