Felix Samuels has been awarded the prestigious Van Beets memorial trophy
Felix at the recent County championships was awarded the Best Individual Junior Boy Performance for any Middlesex based swimmer for setting a British Age group record while still 14 of 24.82 for 50m freestyle back in April.
The trophy is awarded by the county only in years where there has been major achievements and it is felt recognition is important.

CAMDEN DOMINATE NATIONAL JUNIOR SWIMMING LEAGUE FINAL AND GAIN PROMOTION

Sunday evening saw Camden Swiss Cottage swimming club’s junior team (12 years and under) secure promotion from the National Junior Swimming league division 2 in their first season. Coach Gill Muir was delighted with the performance, “The team was outstanding winning 20 of the 49 events and only being placed outside the top 3 in 9 events, …just reward for all their hard work in training.”...
Alex Mackay (17), has just returned from France with a Bronze Medal after representing GB in the 5 km French Open Water Cup in Creil near Paris. This excellent result was followed by a 12th place (4th British Athlete) in a 5km sea swim in the French Championships at Roquebrune near Monaco....
