We are currently in the early stages of developing a swimming-based show for one of the main terrestrial channels, and are looking specifically for families who would be interested in swimming together towards a goal. At the moment we see that goal as potentially being swimming the English Channel in relay.
In terms of the families, we do not see it as important as to the level of their swimming abilities. In fact, we think it may well be better if their abilities were totally varied (e.g. if the children were stronger swimmers than the adults, or if one of the family members could not swim at all). At the moment we are just looking for families who are keen on the idea, would love to use the time to spend more time together and get fit, and who are good strong characters that would make great television.
