The second weekend of the London Swimming BAGCAT Championships earned continued success for CSCSC swimmers.
Alex Burgess with a 13 second Personal Best (PB) took bronze in the 800m Free and secured a place at Nationals this summer.
For the championships Kelly Hookway took first place in the eleven year old group and Robin Neumann placed 3rd in the 10 year old group in the British Age Group Categories.
Kelly won gold in 200m Free in 2:24.29 and silver in 400m IM in 5:50.61, while Robin placed 1st in 100m Backstroke in 1:19.92 and 4th in 200m Free in 2:30.55.
Fellow team mate Bogac Ayhan (14) also won gold in 100m Back in 1:04.31. Bogac completed his medal winnings with a silver and bronze in the 200m Fly in 2:16.81 and 800m Free in 9:17.37, respectively.
Edward Graham (14) took silver in 400m IM in 5:16.93 and 4th in the 800m Free in 9:18.43.
Swimmers to reach the finals were Sarah Taylor-Reid (13) in 100m Breast placing 3rd in 1:24.35. Alex Peake (12) finished 4th in 100m Breast in 1:23.74. Reut Benaim (13) finished 4th and 5th in 200m Free in 2:21.33 and 200m Fly in 2:42.61, respectively. In 100m Breaststroke twelve year olds, Tamsin McKinnon and Clara Ahmed, placed 2nd in 1:24.14 and 4th in 1:26.75, respectively. 5th and 6th place in the 14 year old 100m Back was separated by 2 one hundredths of a second by Jack Martin (1:09.96) and Iao Wong (1:09.98).
Finally distance does not deter Camden swimmers. In the 1500m Free Sara Taylor-Reid swam the event in 20:54.85 and Eugene Potter (12) achieved a PB in 20:51.93.
