Most swimmers finished in the top 3 in their age groups and therefore winning speeding tickets, golds, silvers and bronzes.
Those who swam faster than the upper limits achieve speeding tickets and qualifying times for the main County Age Group competitions in March.
Archie Moat (12) swam fantastically at the weekend, achieving personal best times for 8 races. His 100m breast (1.29.10) earned him top spot in his age group and an 18 second PB. Other 1st place swims include 50m free (32.60) and 200m breast (3.12.30) which was a 9 second PB. His other races were 100m IM (1.21.30), 100m back (1.26.68), 100m free (1.12.46), 200m IM (3.00.21) and 50m breast (40.43).
Leo Jaggs (14) finished 1st in his age group for all 3 races which included 100m back (1.08.87), 100m fly (1.11.22) and 200m IM (2.32.68). Some great swims achieved and plenty more to continue now Leo has moved to the Top Squad this term.
Aron Barta (13) broke the 5 minute milestone on the 400m freestyle with a time of 4.58.15 (a 25 second PB!) and finished 2nd. His other fantastic swim came from the 200m IM with 2.45.64.
Jesse Mathews (12) broke the 6 minute mark for 400m IM to finish with 5.58.82. Great swims also include his 100m breast in 1.32.34 and 100m free in 1.10.74 finishing 2nd in his age group for both.
Michael Allan-Dan (15) finished 1st and 2nd in all his races. He did great swims for 100m free in 1.02.03 and 50m back in 32.98.
Cordelia Grossman (11) also had a great meet on all her events. She completed her 1st 800m freestyle in a time of 11.55.78 and finished 2nd in her age group. Her 400m free was finished in a great time of 5.43.19 and earned her top spot.
Isa Ouwehand (13) took on the challenge of the 400m free despite having long distance nerves. She achieved a great time of 5.10.94 and finished 1st in her age group. Sub 5 minutes next time please Isa!
Tudor Puszet (11), Julia Wilkinson (10) and Victoria Harvey (10) from the Development Squads all had great meets and achieved some good times.
Well done to all the swimmers who competed at the Spring Development meet at Southbury Rd, Enfield. There were great times from everyone!
