CSCSC encourages parents and guardians whenever possible to watch and support their children when racing and training. However if you are not going to be present please ensure you read below and fully understand your responsibilities while you are not present during their lesson, coaching session or competition.
Lessons and Coaching Sessions
• It is your responsibility to ensure that the session is going ahead – While on the rare occasion when there is a cancellation we try to contact everybody we may have missed you.
• Ensure that you are there in plenty of time to collect your children from the end of a session.
• Ensure that your child has adequate funds and a contact number to make any calls if the session is stopped early.
• CSCSC strongly recommends that ALL CHILDREN are collected by an adult.
Galas and Competitions
• Ensure that your child is being collected from the gala venue in ample time
• Coaches are responsible for the children during the gala sessions whilst on the poolside. As parents you are responsible once your child leaves the poolside.
• You are responsible for your child during session breaks in the gala.
• Those parents who chose to leave the gala should ensure they have delegated responsibility for their child to another adult and inform their child of this.
• Please be aware that the gala may finish early and parents should take this into consideration if you are going to collect your children at the end of the gala.
• CSCSC recommends that ALL CHILDREN are collected by an adult
