Devon leads team to 64 medals
We had a very successful weekend at the Cambridge open age group meet, bringing home 15 gold, 25 silver and 24 bronze medals.
Devon Robins (l4) was our top performer, winning 4 golds, a silver and a bronze. She took gold in 200m and 400m IM, 100m and 200m breaststroke (brs). Her 200m brs came very near the end of the weekend, but Devon swam an excellent 2nd half to overtake her 2 main rivals, who were both 17, and touch first overall in a PB of 2.48.98.
KELLY, BILLY AND TAMSIN STAR IN 11 YEAR GROUP
Three 11 year olds were in fine form. Kelly Hookway won double gold in 100m fly (1.18.08) and 200m IM (2.41.75), adding 5 silvers and double bronze. She is currently only 2 seconds outside her National qualifying time for 200m IM.

There were many other excellent swims, notably from Eugene Potter who has just moved into the 12 year age group, which made it hard to get high in the rankings although he swam very well.
