Two swimmers who missed out on the medals this time, will surely make their mark in a big way in 2008. Sophie Rittenhouse (12) improved her 200m free to 2.28.35 and her 50m back to 35.96. Kelly Hookway, at 11, toughened herself up with 11 events in 2 days and still set 9 new PBs including 100m/200m free (1.08.61 and 2.29.14) and 100m/200m IM (1.17.52 and 2.42.08).
Credit to these young swimmers who are still mainly training at Intermediate level with coaches Mark Allen and Paul Hurley. They all work hard and show great enthusiasm for their swimming.
