At the final weekend of the British Gas Middlesex BAGAT and Youth Championships at Southbury Road in Enfield. Camden swimmers continued their winning ways.
Athletes picked up 45 medals, 9 of which were golds and new personal bests were being set in abundance.
William Rittenhouse (13) put in a storming performance bagging three golds. His butterfly was outstanding as he won the 100m (1.04.38s) and 200m (2.24.06s) topping it of with the 400m individual medley (5.06.94s).
Emily House (10) completed her fantastic championships with a further three golds in the 100m (1.15.30s) 200m (2.47.88s) butterfly events and a further gold in the 200m freestyle (2.24.12s).
Reut Benaim (15) also came away with two golds with her freestyle in the 100m in which she dipped under the 1 minute mark (59.80s) and the 400m 4.28.51s). Devon Robbins (16) also finished her championships off with a gold in the 400m freestyle (4.19.06s)
Dave Hobbs, Head Coach summing up the Championships said “100 athletes competed over 3 weekends, winning 159 medals, with 40 of these being Championship winning swims. Significantly more than 400 personal best times have been set and it is pleasing to see the progress of our youngest swimmers who are just setting out on their swimming careers.”
