All swimmers and parents are reminded of the need to be punctual for the start of training sessions.
The warm up is widely accepted as vital to prepare physically and psychologically for an effective training session. This is especially the case during the cold weather of winter months where it takes longer to warm up effectively.
Swimmers are advised to be present at the poolside at least 10mins before the start of the session. This time allows you to stretch out, leave school or work troubles behind you and look forwards to the challenge of the session with your coach.
Please note that we view poor punctuality as being discourteous to fellow swimmers and the coaching staff. It’s also disruptive trying to accommodate late comers into our busy sessions.
It is the coaches’ decision not to allow persistent late comers to join in the training session.
If you are persistently late arriving at the pool allow more time for your journey
